Baba Daljit Singh Ji (Amritsar)

Baba Daljit Singh Ji founded Bakhshish International Charitable Society on January 1st, 1998, with the vision to bestow the knowledge of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to everyone.

Baba Daljit Singh Ji, a devoted disciple of Waheguru, strongly professes the significance of Naam Simran in a human’s life.

There is only one way to get the glory of the Almighty and that is by Naam Simran. On the ship of Naam, a soul can sail to the landings of the Creator and be liberated from the cycle of birth and death. To release ourselves from this mortal cycle, we need to walk on the path of Guru and only Naam can lead us to our Creator. The righteous path that is meant to lead us to the Great God.

Baba Daljit Singh Ji gives us the technique, the Jugat, to be one with the Waheguru. By mere a glance of Baba Ji, one can feel the divine presence and glory of the God.

With his birth on 24 March, 1964, in the home of S. Gurbachan Singh and Smt. Harbans Kaur, Baba Ji enlightened the world with his holy presence. He spent his early life in Preet Nagar in the care of his parents.

At the age of 18, Baba Ji joined Indian Army with the will to serve the nation. But his love for God never diminished. Even during his service, Baba Ji used to teach the lessons of Gurbani and gave solace to the wavering souls. On May 1st, 1988, Baba Ji was married to Bibi Paramjit Kaur Ji.

Baba Ji’s mission is to connect the humans with Gurbani and to give them the Jugat of Naam Simran, so all can be one with the Waheguru. And for his sacred purpose, Baba Ji took premature retirement on 31st March, 2000; despite a promotion.
